libc6-dbg software package provides Embedded GNU C Library: detached debugging symbols, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libc6-dbg
libc6-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libc6-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libc6-dbg *
You will get with libc6-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
